Create Event

Once you've created a Google Calendar node to get free slots, if not done already, please proceed to create one.

Now, since the user has chosen a date for booking from the available slots, you'll need to block that date in your linked email account. To do this, create another Google Calendar node, but this time select the action as "create an event."

Fill in the fields provided to create this node. For your convenience, a description of each field is provided below:

  • Calendar: Select the calendar where you want to create the event.
  • Attendee Email: Enter the email addresses of the people you want to invite to the event. You can pass an attribute which would store the email address entered by the user.
  • Start Time: Enter the start time of the event. You can pass an attribute Start_Time you previously created in get free slot.
  • End Time: Enter the end time of the event. You can pass an attribute End_Time you previously created in get free slot.
  • Title: Enter a title for the event. This will be the name of the event that will be displayed on your calendar.
  • Description: Enter a description of the event. This can include any additional information about the event, such as the location or the agenda.
  • Location: Enter the location of the event. This can be a physical location, such as a meeting room or a restaurant, or it can be a virtual location, such as a Zoom meeting link.
  • Send Notifications: Select whether or not you want to send notifications to the attendees of the event.
  • Generate Google Meet Link: Select whether or not you want to add Google Meet link to allow your users to meet remotely via a video call.

Once you have filled in all the required fields click on "Save" and this will book the date selected by the user with the help of get free slots on your calendar.
