1. Introduction 

Pipedrive is a web-based Sales CRM and pipeline management solution that enables businesses to plan their sales activities and monitor deals.

Customers can now integrate their Pipedrive account with Engati. This allows you to:

  • Create Deal
  • Create Lead
  • Create Organization
  • Create Person
  • Create User

2. Access to Pipedrive Integration

The Pipedrive Integration can be set up in the Integrations workflow of Engati.

Once the Integration with an account is completed, the integration APIs can be used within the Conversation flow using the Pipedrive Node under + Add Node > Integrations > Pipedrive.

3. Steps to configure Pipedrive Integration

3.1 Adding the Pipedrive Integration

  • Log in to your Engati account and go to the “Integrations” tab.

  • Click on ‘Connect’
  • Click on ‘Continue’ in the modal that appears requesting ‘Authorization access’
  • In the modal that appears requesting to ‘Connect a new app’, choose ‘Pipedrive’ to authenticate and add a new account for automation.
  • Provide API Key for Pipedrive

  • API Key: You can find your API Key by signing on to Pipedrive Account > Personal Preferences > API

  • Copy the API key displayed
  • Paste this key in the API Key field on the Integry Configuration page above
  • Click on ‘Proceed’
  • Your account should now be connected

3.2 Configuring Pipedrive Node

Once you have logged in, you are done with authorizing your account.

Now go to Builder > Paths and try adding a Pipedrive node.

3.3 Selecting an action

  • Once you select your account, you can choose an Action, from the list of Actions available, to be performed on your account. The list of available Actions are:
    • Create Deal
    • Create Lead
    • Create Organization
    • Create Person
    • Create User

  • Once you select the Action, you can also authorize a new account here or use a previously authorized account
  • Once you select the Action it populates various rows that are required to complete the Actions and assign different attributes for each row with respect to what information is required
  • Once you have finished assigning the attributes, save the node, and your integration will be ready

4. Limitations



  • All requests to the Pipedrive API must be made over SSL (https, not http)
  • The user's UI actions are counted in the rate limit. Webhooks are not subjected to rate limiting
  • The rate limiting of the Pipedrive API is considered per token, not per company
  • All times received by the API will be in UTC timezone
