Shopify Settings

1. Introduction

Engati provides a store owner with multiple settings to manage the customer experience for your customers. One of the key functionality is the ability to trigger user prompts, which allows your agents to trigger ready-to-use flows available on the chatbot and let the user complete the necessary actions thereby ensuring the confidentiality of the user data and simplicity in the experience.

2. Set up Prompts

To set up prompts for your store, navigate to Configure > Integrations > Click on Shopify.

Select the Settings tab to set up the prompts. For the bot created from the Shopify template, prompts are set up by default.

There are three prompts available for the agents:

2.1 Verify Customer

If live chat is triggered by a user who hasn’t verified their account information, instead of manually adding the details, you can use the prompt to trigger the user verification flow.

2.2 Update phone number

Similarly, the agent can update the user’s phone number easily with the help of prompts. Click on Prompt User to trigger the update number flow

2.3 Update shipping address

If the user wishes to update the shipping address of a particular order, the agent can trigger the Update Shipping Address flow instead of manually adding the form fields
