Marketing Analytics
We introduced a new Marketing Analytics workflow that consolidates all your WhatsApp marketing activities, from Broadcasts to Click-to-WhatsApp (CTWA), into one convenient location. Easily visualize your marketing execution and engagement without switching between multiple tabs, screens, or products.
This feature is only available when WhatsApp is enabled as a channel and 360dialog or WhatsApp Cloud are connected as providers.
See which campaigns are performing the best and get recommendations on better-performing campaigns to help you optimize your marketing budget.
Navigate to Marketing Campaigns > Execution
You can track the analytics of the template message sent via WhatsApp. It can display analytics such as the number of messages sent, delivered, and read along with their rates.
Besides the broadcast you want to analyse, click on "View Broadcast"
The summary of your ads will only be visible if you are running ads on Facebook and Instagram through Click to WhatsApp Ads feature enabled via Facebook’s ads manager.
After a successful ad campaign, you can access the statistics for that specific campaign in this section.
In addition to the statistics, you have the opportunity to retarget users who were directed to WhatsApp through the ads and interacted with your business.
Note: According to the META guidelines, You will not be charged for sending a template message for the first 72 hours of users clicking on the ad.
Once you click on confirm, you will be redirected to the broadcast window from where you can select the relevant template message and retarget those CTWA-engaged users.
Once a campaign is live, you also get to track how many messages were sent, delivered and read by your chatbot users.
Note: that delivery and read receipts tracking is a channel-dependent feature and might be inconsistent if there are multiple channels configured including some that don’t provide this data
Track engagement on your campaigns to understand your gains and compare the performance of different sources.
The Summary tab provides an overview of the total engagements received through Broadcasts or Click-to-WhatsApp Ads (CTWA). This tab is designed to give you a comprehensive snapshot of how your outreach efforts are performing.
The Broadcast tab provides detailed insights into user engagement with your template messages. This tab focuses on tracking the total number of users who have interacted with your broadcast messages by either clicking on a button within the template or sending a reply after receiving the message.
The Click-to-WhatsApp Ads (CTWA) Analytics tab offers a detailed overview of user engagement through your Click-to-WhatsApp Ads. This tab is designed to help you track and analyze how effectively your ads are driving user interactions and engagement.
Here's what you can monitor:
- CTWA Users: Track engagement from Instagram/Facebook ad clicks.
- Unique CTWA Users: Count distinct users for individual engagements.
- User History: Analyze engagement trends by day/week across Facebook and Instagram platforms.
