Greetings, Here are the latest updates and enhancements introduced this month.

AI Agents - Workflows with Voice

You can now call deterministic workflows from voice-based agents, making them capable of handling end-to-end conversations with structured outputs.

Built for: Businesses automating lead capture, appointment bookings, and other voice-driven flows. Impact: Enhances accuracy and efficiency using business-specific workflows instead of relying only on LLMs.

AI Agents - Summary Generation and Analytics

Every completed session with an AI Agent will now generate a summary and performance analytics.

Built for: Businesses looking to improve their agents iteratively based on usage data. Impact: Enables consistent information sharing, agent handoff, and data-backed optimization.

AI Agents - Voice Integration with Twilio

Voice agents can now make and receive phone calls via Twilio.

Built for: Businesses using automated calls (e.g., appointment scheduling, lead scoring). Impact: Expands customer communication channels.

AI Agents - Supervisor Configuration

Added capabilities to configure a supervisor agent who can manage multiple agents and route requests intelligently.

GenAI Response Debugging

CS Teams can now access GenAI response logs in MongoDB instead of Kibana, improving searchability and debugging.

GenAI Training - CSV & PDF

Training pipeline now supports pulling answers from both CSV and PDF documents.

WhatsApp Pay: API Logs

Added API logging for WhatsApp Pay requests and responses.

Built for: Businesses using WhatsApp Pay. Impact: Simplifies debugging and tracking of payment flows.

Shopify API Version Upgrade

Shopify has deprecated older API versions.

Built for: All Shopify-integrated customers. Impact: Ensures uninterrupted services by upgrading to the latest API versions.

New Template API

Users can now fetch the template cURL directly by providing the template name.

Built for: ShareChat and other automation-heavy users. Impact: Eliminates manual conversion of template details into Wrapper API payloads.

New User Data Change - Upcoming

"New User" tagging now works based on a 30-day window of inactivity.

Built for: Accurate user engagement tracking. Impact: Users returning after 30+ days are tagged as new; within 30 days as active.

Template Category Restriction - Upcoming

WhatsApp is enforcing stricter rules on template category misuse.

Impact:

  • Since June 1, 2024: Meta started reviewing & reclassifying misused templates.
  • Starting April 1, 2025:
    • Misuse may lead to warnings
    • Rejection of Utility templates
    • Temporary or extended blocks on submissions
