As part of our monthly deployments, we had a release on the 23rd of May 2023. Following is the summary of the changes,
Apart from the Web as a channel, Engati’s Data Input Nodes such as Form node, Identity node, and Website links will now also be supported on Whatsapp, Instagram and other channels.
The bot v2 now has Voice capability support using Google’s speech-to-text and text-to-speech features.
You can now share the clickable YouTube links with your customers using Engati’s ‘Send Video’ node, which would support natively on the Web, Whatsapp and other channels.
The configuration will be available for bot builders to enable or disable the option of selecting multiple options if another option of that same message has already triggered the flow.
Logs for the script node will now be available in the ‘API Logs’ section.
Similar to Engati Oneview inbox, users can now select quick filters for Starred conversations, Saved filter groups, and Agents conversations on the Engati Mobile App.
Users can now mark conversations as starred to identify those conversations effortlessly in the future as well as filter the starred conversations.
Users can now download and keep an offline track of the conversations and interactions data by navigating to Accounts Settings > Usage details.
In order to provide a seamless and uninterrupted experience on the platform, users will now receive email notifications when they have utilized 80% of the credits added to their account. This will help them stay informed and manage their credits effectively.
To ensure accurate input of the country code while providing a phone number, users now have the option to explicitly select the country code. This feature helps in eliminating errors and ensures the correct country code is associated with the phone number.
Through the API logs section, Now API logs can be searched based on template messages and broadcasts for required phone numbers and template names.
Once the credits are expired, only the message inbox section and broadcast creation would be restricted. However, there will be an option available to request additional credits in order to re-enable these features.
In the past, links shared from the Engati inbox through a chatbot or an agent appeared as clickable text links. However, with the latest upgrade, these links now include a thumbnail associated with them, allowing users to preview videos more conveniently.
Note: The visibility of this feature will depend on WhatsApp support and will be applicable to specific types of URLs.
Attributes and values that were set when sending contact list broadcasts will now be available when users start interacting.
Option to save a broadcast to be sent via contact list, as a draft
The Contact list option on the portal is now available for Kaleyra as a WhatsApp provider.
If a customer wishes to compare the performance of multiple broadcasts, they now have the ability to download a summary containing information about all the completed broadcasts.
Facebook APIs are now upgraded from v10 to the latest version v16.
To prevent the automatic triggering of the bot when a user submits a new query for the second time following their initial conversation with an agent and if the agent is responding to a user query directly through the Facebook messenger or Instagram app, Engati's one-view inbox provides the option for an agent to activate bot automation for that specific conversation.
Additionally, the name of the channel is now visible under the agent's message to identify its source.
Our Shopify integrated platform is now available for White Labeled partners to re-sell to Shopify e-commerce businesses.
