Request User Data
Request User Data allows you to collect data from the user. You can specify the type of data you want to collect, such as text, number, or date. You can also specify the prompt that will be displayed to the user.
The Request User Data feature can be used in a variety of ways. Here are a few examples:
- You can use it to collect contact information from users.
- You can use it to collect feedback from users.
- You can use it to conduct surveys.
Adding a request user data node is simple, just follow the steps below:
Step 1: In the builder, click "+Add Node".
Step 2: Select the Request User Data node under Data Input.
Step 3: Fill in fields like the question to ask, validation rules, etc.
- Type : Select the type of data you want to collect. The options are:
- Standard : allows you to capture user input as an “Attribute”.
- Entity : helps capture the user input as an “Entity”.
- User Prompt: This is the text that will be displayed to the user. You can use this text to instruct the user on what data to enter.
- Validation Type : This field allows you to specify the validation rules for the data that is entered. The options are:
- Text : used to valid for all input
- Password : used to take password inputs.
- Number : used to validate numeric input only.
- Location : allows you to store the shared information in form of longitude and latitude.
- NPS(1-10) : allows the user to choose a number in the Net Promoter Score of 1 to 10.
- NPS(1-5) : allows the user to choose a number in the Net Promoter Score of 1 to 5.
- NPS(1-3) : allows the user to choose a number in the Net Promoter Score of 1 to 3.
- Email : used to check if user input is a valid email address.
- Mobile : used to check if the user input is a valid phone number
- Date : used to validate if the user input is a valid date. It can also be set up to accept a date from a date picker.
- Regex :allows you to store the set the validation type of the attribute into any regex format of your choice.
- Attribute Name : This field allows you to specify the name of the attribute that will be used to store the data.
- Enable Skip : This option allows you to specify whether the user can skip this field.
Step 4: Click "Save" when done configuring.
The Request User Data feature is a powerful tool that can be used to collect data from users. It is easy to use and can be customized to meet your specific needs. The Request User Data node enables simple and flexible data collection in just a few clicks!
