Welcome to the user guide for creating your account on our platform. This guide will walk you through the simple steps required to set up your account and gain access to all the features and benefits our platform has to offer. Whether you are a seasoned user or new to the platform, this guide will ensure a smooth and hassle-free account creation process.
To begin the account creation process, first go to the website https://www.engati.com and click on the "Sign Up for Free" button. This will redirect you to the account creation page, where you will be presented with a form to enter your personal information.
However if you've previously created an account, simply "log in" using your existing credentials and you can jump directly to Step 3: Upgrading and Exploring.
The account creation form consists of several fields that require your personal information. Let’s go through each field and understand what information is needed:
- Name: Enter your full name as you would like it to appear on your account.
- Email: Provide your valid email address. This will be your login ID, and we will also use it to send you important updates and notifications.
- Password: Create a strong password that you will use to log in to your account. Make sure it includes a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. For security purposes, the password field masks your input as you type.
- Phone Number: Enter your phone number, including the country code. This information is essential for account verification and recovery purposes.
Once you have filled in all the required fields and agreed to the Terms and Conditions, click on the “Create Account” button at the bottom of the form. Our system will process your request and create your account.
Engati is a no-code platform that allows you to create chatbots for various messaging channels. To get started with Engati, you will need to create an account and log in. Once you are logged in, you will be taken to the Engati dashboard.
The Admin Dashboard is the main page you see after logging into Engati. It contains everything you need to build, manage and analyze your bots.
In the center, you will see any bots you have created. Click the "+ Create Bot" button to make a new one.
At the top right are important features:
- Resources - User guides to help you learn the platform
- Send Feedback - Share your feedback about Engati
- Notifications - Get alerts when customers request for live chat with the agent
- Profile - See account details and settings. The Profile menu also lets you upgrade your plan or get professional help.
Note – Privacy is important to us, so we have added an "Auto Logout" feature. This will automatically log you out after 180 minutes of inactivity.This ensures your account stays secure if you leave the portal open.
