WhatsApp Sandbox
Engati’s WhatsApp Sandbox allows you to send outgoing messages and respond to incoming messages in a pre-configured setup available on the Engati Portal. Specifically, the sandbox allows you to quickly test WhatsApp as a channel before deploying the bot on your WhatsApp number.
This feature can be accessed via the deployment menu. Navigate to Configure > Deployment > WhatsApp > Connect - Select 360dialog as service provider > Use Sandbox (checkbox)
1.Once you click on the ‘Use Sandbox’ checkbox, you will be provided with a sandbox number and an option to add multiple users to it.

Note: Enter the phone number along with its country code. You can add a maximum of up to 20 users.
2.Click on ‘Save changes’ and a share option will appear.
3.Using the ‘Share’ option you can get started with your first conversation on WhatsApp.
4.Available options are -
- Click to chat link
- Scan to chat QR code

Note: Once you configure the sandbox number, your bot flow will only be triggered for those added users on WhatsApp.
