7min

The Broadcast Auto-retry Analytics feature enables customers to gain insights into the performance of their broadcasts after enabling automatic retry functionality. This document outlines the available features, statistics, and analytics provided to customers for both the existing "Template Message" and the newly supported "Trigger a Path" Broadcast types.

 Key Features

  1. Enhanced Analytics: Customers can view retry-wise and feature-level statistics.
  2. Expanded Support: Auto-retry is now available for the “Trigger a Path” Broadcast type in and the existing “Template Message” type.
  3. Improved Performance:
    1. 45% Increase in messages recovered from undelivered messages.
    2. 16% Increase in delivery rates post-automatic retries.

 Viewing Analytics

Once broadcasts are executed, detailed analytics on the increased delivery rates after triggering the auto-retry functionality are available at the following levels:

 1. Individual Broadcast Level (Broadcast Execution Tab)

 Line Graph

  • Axes:
    • X-Axis: Number of Retries
    • Y-Axis: Total Broadcasts Sent
  • Graph Representation:
    • Depicts the total number of broadcasts sent per retry in ascending order.
    • Each intersection point is calculated as:
      • Current number of broadcasts delivered by the current retry + Previous cumulative total of broadcasts delivered.
  • Bottom Text: Indicates the percentage increase in messages delivered by auto-retry compared to the initial broadcast sent.

Tabular Format for Manual Retry

  • Instead of summarizing with percentages (e.g., "12% more delivery"), data is displayed in a table with the following columns:
    • Retry Number
    • Triggered By: Indicates whether the retry was triggered by the system or manually.
    • Delivery per Retry: Displays the number of messages delivered for each retry.
  • Additional Information: Includes the email ID of the user who triggered the first broadcast.

 2. Engagement Tab (Broadcast Section)

  • Displays the absolute number of broadcasts delivered via auto-retry functionality.

 Graph Configurations

The graph’s behavior and display depend on the broadcast scenario:

1. Auto-retry Not Enabled:

  • No graph is shown; the page appears as it did before.

2. Broadcast In Progress:

  • A graph in a progression state is displayed, showing current data as retries are ongoing.

3. Broadcast Completed:

  • The final graph is displayed, showing all retries and their cumulative results.

4. Broadcast Stopped Midway:

  • If a broadcast is manually stopped, the graph will show data up to the last completed retry.
