Data Input Node

Collecting information from engaging users is a key function of most chatbots. Engati makes it easy by providing a number of options to collect data using nodes like Request User Data, Form, Feedback node, and many more.
To add a Data Input Node to your chatbot, simply click on the “+Add Node” button and select “Data Input” from the list of available nodes. Once added, you will see a range of options to customize the content and appearance of your node.

- Feedback: Allows users to provide feedback on the platform’s performance and suggest improvements.
- Upload File: Enables users to upload files from their local storage to the platform. This feature is particularly useful when you need to process or analyze data stored in external files.
- Form: Allows users to create and deploy custom forms to collect data from users.
- WhatsApp Flow: Allows users to create and manage WhatsApp flows. You can use WhatsApp flows to send messages, collect data, and automate tasks.
- Identify: Allows users to collect information about the user’s identity, such as their name, email address, and phone number.
- Request User Data: Allows users to request specific data from the platform. This feature is useful when you need to access data stored in the platform’s database.
- Slider: Allows users to select a value from a range of options. You can specify the minimum and maximum values.
- Conversational Data Capture Node: Enables seamless collection of user inputs through interactive, context-driven conversations.
