As part of our monthly deployments, we had a release on 6th February 2024. Following is the summary of the changes:

Broadcast and channels 

Mass Broadcast

Description

  • Broadcast as a feature has been further enhanced to handle bulk broadcasts

Feature Impact

  • Time saving for customers who want to send only WhatsApp template messages without any other processing

WhatsApp Flows Node

Description

  • WhatsApp Flows as feature can be used by customers to collect data, leads, schedule appointments, book tickets natively like a form on WhatsApp

Feature Impact

  • Instead of lengthy conversations users can easily provide these details through a native form on WhatsApp
  • Will be useful for ticket bookings, insurance data collection, collect address by e-commerce customers

WhatsApp Pay - Payment Gateway

Description

  • WhatsApp Pay can be used to collect payment through Razorpay and PayU payment gateway as a native WhatsApp feature where user will not have to leave WhatsApp for payment

Feature Impact

  • WhatsApp pay can be easily used to improve payment collection and reduce drop-offs between payment steps
  • It will be useful for Fintech, Insurance, eCommerce customers or any payment use case on WhatsApp

Platform

Add more conversational info on 'Responses & Training'

Description

  • Give customers more context when they are training ac conversation in Response & Training

Live Chat & Inbox

Inbox - provide a filter for agents to filter out conversations based on the retargeting window closing time

Description

  • A quick filter has now been added for agents/supervisors/Owners to quickly apply these quick filters as there are attending conversations.
  • All the whatsapp conversations with a reachable window time open can be filtered based on the time left to respond to each conversation.
  • This quick filters is an easily accessible filters that can be applied on top of all the that i.e New, Active, Unassigned and All

Feature Impact

  • The  aim is to provide a quick filter for agents to filter out conversations based on the retargeting window closing time for WA conversations and to create an opportunity for the Engati  customers in terms of lead conversion with respect to reaching out to customers.
