As part of our monthly deployments, we had a release on 5th March 2024. Following is the summary of the changes:
Description
- Retarget broadcast option to be visible in Broadcast History page
Feature Impact
- Improve discoverability which will allow customers to run more broadcasts from the system easily, hence improving usage.
Description
- The Stripe customer portal CTA, guiding users to the list of unpaid invoices on Stripe, is now available on the Engati portal under account settings → subscription details.
Feature Impact
- Customers no longer need to raise a query or wait for an email from Engati to settle overdue payments. They can check their dues at their convenience, promoting data transparency and building trust with the customer.
Description
- In the first phase, we enabled an email section under subscription details on the Engati Portal, allowing users to enter their valid email addresses to receive billing-related reminders through email. In the current phase, we have expanded the options to include the WhatsApp number as a channel for users to receive billing reminders from Engati.

- Customers who do not check their email regularly can now opt for reminders on WhatsApp, given its high user activity on this platform.

- Earlier the exit conversation as an option was only available for website users and since a major chunk of our customers use WA we have also extended this capability for the end users to exit the conversation anytime they want. This unties the dependency created on the agent to resolve conversation so that the end user can explore the automation flows
Feature Impact
- This feature will solve the problem of the end user getting stuck with the live chat agent until the conversation is manually resolved by the agent or when the system auto resolves all the conversations. With this capability the end user is free to exit the chat anytime they want and are free to explore the automation flows that are created.
- Capture leads, engage them & boost your cart recovery rates with attractive offers, product showcases, and videos with dynamic pop-ups on the Shopify website.
