Retargeting Broadcast
The retargeting broadcast feature allows you to send follow-up messages to customers based on their interactions with previous broadcasts.
By analyzing metrics like message sent, delivered, read status, or buttons clicked, you can identify specific segments to retarget with tailored content.
Note : Your target channel must be WhatsApp only. This option is only available for 7 days after the initial broadcast is sent.
Through this process of retargeting broadcast, targeted recipients who might have missed the initial broadcast are reached, ensuring successful communication.
Step 1 : Navigate to Broadcast > Broadcast History. Hover over the broadcast you previously sent and wish to retarget, then click on the "..." button for further options.
Step 2 : You can select/unselect the boxes depending on which conditions you want to retarget the customer and it’ll create a target segment based on your selection.
Step 3 : Once you click on the ‘Next’ button, it’ll take you to the create a broadcast page. Wherein your ‘target segment’ would be selected by default based on your selection.
- Broadcast Name : Enter a name for the broadcast in this field. The default name that appears is the name of the broadcast you choosed for retargeting followed by the category you choosed for retargeting.
- Target Channel and Broadcast Type cannot be modified.
- Target WhatsApp Number : Use the {{user.phone_no}} placeholder to send the broadcast to all the users in this attribute.
- Select Template : Select a template from the dropdown menu.
- Target Segments : Select the segments of users you want to send the broadcast to.
- Exclude users who have opted out : By enabling this option you can also exclude users who have opted out of receiving broadcasts.
- Retry for failed messages : Enable this option to ensures that the failed users are targets again if the broadcast fails.
- Schedule : Choose whether to send the broadcast now or schedule it for later.
The retargeting broadcast capability is a powerful way to re-engage customers based on their previous interactions. By segmenting your audience using insightful metrics, you can send highly relevant follow-ups to nurture leads, provide support, or drive additional conversions. With retargeting, your messaging stays contextual and avoids bombarding disengaged users.
