Engati has introduced a new Simplified Broadcast to provide a seamless user experience. You can easily access sections such as Broadcast History, Scheduled Broadcasts, Drafted Broadcasts, Creating Campaigns, and Data Export History with the least effort.
Broadcasts and campaigns can push content to your engaged chatbot users. This makes it a great marketing tool for business owners and marketers. The opportunities are immense
– Keep your users engaged on a regular basis – Reach out to a specific segment of users for important notifications or transactions
Usage of broadcasts and campaigns,
- Trigger or schedule broadcast for the users
- Use Campaigns to subscribe to users and schedule or send messages to engage them
- Send or schedule WhatsApp template messages for exiting and new users
Broadcast and campaigns are available for the following channels,
- Facebook Messenger – Supports sending messages to existing users only within 24 hours of the last user message
- Instagram – Supports sending messages to existing users only within 24 hours of the last user message
- Microsoft Teams
- WhatsApp – Supports sending template messages to all existing and new users
- Website – Supporters sending messages only to active users
Once you log in to your Engati account, you could see the following options:
- Broadcast History
- Scheduled Broadcasts
- Draft Broadcasts
- Export History
1. Broadcast History
This section helps you in Creating a new broadcast and displaying the list of existing broadcasts along with their analytics. The data metrics are identical to the older broadcast view.
Filter out the broadcasts by selecting the channel used and the from-to-date range.
You can also sort the broadcast list based on the following criteria:
- Broadcast from A-Z
- Latest Published First
- Oldest published first
- Maximum User Count First
- Minimum User Count First
The data columns can be extended based on the metrics.
Note: Columns such as Broadcast name, Target users, and Status would be selected by default. You can add up to 8 columns to display.
The column names are as followed -
- Published time
- Failed users
- Completion time
2. Scheduled Broadcasts
This includes the list of broadcasts that are scheduled.
If in case you miss out on scheduling a broadcast then you can create a new broadcast and schedule it from the ‘scheduled broadcast’ section itself.
Along with the scheduled broadcast name, you can check the date and time of scheduling, the associated channel, and the selected target user group.
You can edit/copy/delete the scheduled broadcasts.
3. Draft Broadcasts
While creating a new broadcast, the broadcasts selected as Save Draft would be displayed under the Draft Broadcasts section. Along with the Broadcast name, you can also check the date and time at which the broadcast was saved as a draft and the channel associated with it.
In a case where you want to start off with a new broadcast, You can do that using the ‘Create New Broadcast’ option available in the same section.
Or else you can edit/copy/delete the existing drafted broadcasts.
4. Message Templates
Create WhatsApp Message Templates and use them, to begin with, business-initiated conversations.
Additionally, you can use them to send Marketing, Transactional, and OTP-related broadcasts to the existing user.
Create campaigns that reach your customers at their preferred touchpoints more effectively.
6. Export History
Get detailed logs of the exported broadcasts under Export History. You can keep a track of when the request for exporting the broadcast was initiated and completed along with its completion status.
You can redownload the broadcast file using the download button. (present on the right side of the ‘status’ column)
