Order Updates
This feature enables you to send automated messages to customers regarding their orders. These messages are triggered automatically when order statuses are updated on either Shopify or Shiprocket platform.
It will be available for users having Shopify/Woocommerce integrated into their Engati portal.
- Go to the Quick Navigator tab on the left menu -> Basic Setup -> Enable Automated Messages.
- Under Order Notifications, click on the ‘Enable’ button. If already enabled, it will show the ‘Edit Settings’ button where you can configure the notification settings.
You can also enable this feature by following these steps:
- Go to the ‘Store’ tab on the left menu -> ‘Feature Configurator’
- Enable the Order Notifications toggle.
- If the feature is already enabled, select ‘Edit Settings’ to modify the notification settings as needed.
You can automatically send specific messages to your customers whenever the status is updated on your Shopify or WooCommerce store. Each message type comes with a toggle switch, allowing you to enable or disable the respective notification according to your preference.
- Order Confirmation (COD): This message includes all the order details and is sent to customers who choose Cash on Delivery (COD) as their payment method.
- Order Confirmation (Prepaid): Similar to the COD order confirmation, this message confirms the order placed using a prepaid payment method.
- Order Fulfilment: This message is sent to customers when their orders are successfully processed and has been dispatched. It includes the tracking details as well.
- Order Cancellation: This notification is sent when an order is cancelled by the customer.
“View Templates”: This button will redirect you to its respective path in the path builder. Once there, you can view the message templates for all types of order notifications.
- Path name: “WA Notification Order Update”
- Click on the Template Message node which has the default message.
- If the template message is already created and approved by Meta then you can simply select the template you wish to add. If the template message is not created then you create a new template and add. Click here to learn how to create a new message template.
- If any variables are present in the template message then add the relevant attribute or a fixed value in the field. Please note - Attributes should be added in curly brackets.
- If Media is present (Image/Video/Document) in the template then add the media link in the image field.
- Save the node.

Shiprocke is an e-commerce shipping and logistics software that helps you send real-time tracking updates via email and SMS to buyers. With Engati’s Shiprocket integration you can deliver the right shipping notifications to your customers and save customer data into CRM integrations like Google Sheets.
Once the Shiprocket integration is enabled, you can automatically send specific messages to your customers whenever the status is updated on Shiprocket. Each message type comes with a toggle switch, allowing you to enable or disable the respective notification according to your preference.

- Order In Transit: This notification is sent to customers when their order is currently being transported between various locations en route to its final destination.
- Order Out for Delivery: This notification is sent to customers when their order is out for delivery, indicating that it is currently on its way to be delivered to the specified address.
- Order Partially Delivered: This message is sent to customers when only a portion of their order has been successfully delivered.
- Order Delivered: This notification is sent to customers when their order has been successfully delivered to the specified address.
- Order Out for Pickup: This notification is triggered when the delivery agent is en route to pick up the return order from the specified location.
- Order Picked: This notification is sent to customers when the delivery agent has picked up the return order from the specified location.
