Release Notes November 2022
As part of our monthly deployments, we had a release on 3rd Nov 2022. With this release, we released a few new features, resolved and enhanced several customer requests/enhancements and took another step forward to better solve our customer’s problems and use cases.
Following is the summary of the changes :
With WhatsApp mandating an unsubscribe option with template messages, a workflow to include an opt-out option has been a requirement from several clients. With this sprint, we have added this workflow when creating templates and running broadcasts.
Customers will soon be able to exclude users who have opted-out while running broadcasts and be able to access a quick list of users who are choosing to opt-out (ETA - 11 Nov)
When creating broadcasts for WhatsApp template messages, checks were added to ensure that required parameters were included and prevent broadcast failure.
Certain gaps on the Analytics screen have been addressed
- Instead of seeing a blank screen while analytics syncs, a loader will be visible to
- Now 2 pie charts will be visible to provide more clarity and differentiation on read receipts and different button clicks
- Opted-out users’ numbers will soon be visible on UI and analytics data downloaded (ETA - 11 Nov)
Further improvements were made to the Bot V2 which is our new UI for the web bot. Engati’s own mascot, Enbo, has now been enabled on Bot V2.
Additions and improvements were to Live Chat analytics to help determine the productivity, quality and performance of agents.
To help clients focus on some of the most used information, a WhatsApp dashboard to help monitor the health of the account, status of broadcasts, live chats, and templates all in a single location was released as a part of the sprint.
Users can quote agent or previous user messages on WhatsApp and the same will be visible to Agents on Oneview/Messages screen to provide more context to the conversation
Agents were unable to differentiate between messages sent from the Instagram app or one view/messages screen. We have added a new tag on messages sent from the Instagram app to provide more clarity on which messages were sent outside of Engati
Continuous improvements to the Mobile App to increase stability, improve experiences of notifications, speed of live chat and several bug fixes were a part of the sprint.
A system segment for retargeting users/ Customers to take care of browse abandonment usecases on WhatsApp and instagram channels was also included. Custom customer segments based on product types can also now be created.
The current sprint also included a POC of integration with WooCommerce as another ECommerce platform integration option.
The current sprint also focused on analytics, insights and recommendations for
- WhatsApp Campaigns
- Products and Product Rankings
